;void(0)) We offer quality, rose-scented jewelry by cooking rose petals and turning them into hard, fragrant beads! The rose beads are then incorporated into necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings, Rosaries and more. The more the rose beads are worn, the better they look and smell! All of our jewelry is hand-made to customer's requested sizes, color and style choices! You may purchase jewelry with our rose beads as shown, or, better yet, review (Shipping Your Roses ) and send us your special dried roses! We will turn them into scented rose beads and put them into jewelry of your choice! NOW, YOU CAN WEAR YOUR OWN ROSES!
Effective 10 September 2009, We have changed our Processing Fee structure to:
1-6 roses-$30 7-12 roses $50. This fee is to pay for the 2 weeks of work required to turn your roses into hard fragrant beads. This charge does not pay for the finished rose beads or for the cost of jewelry ordered and must be paid before we can process your roses. Once your rose beads are finished, we will notify you and you purchase your rose beads outright at that time.
The cost per finished rose bead is as follows: 5mm- $5 6mm- $6 7mm-$7 8mm- $8
From the date notified your rose beads are finished, you have a maximum of 60 days to pay for them or they will become property of The Rose Pedaler.
This change is necessary to free us from having to store additional rose beads in personal files as, over the years, we have just flat run out of room to accommodate storing any more. Your total cost is based upon how many rose beads you want and how many your roses yield. We usually get (4-5) 5mm (3) 6mm (standard size), (1.5 -2) 7mm (1) 8mm rose bead from each rose we cook. From one dozen roses, we get between 36-44 six millimeter rose beads. If you sent us 6 roses and wanted 6mm size rose beads, the 18 rose beads would cost ($6 X 18) $108 (plus the processing fee of $30). You now own all of your rose beads! We can either send them all back to you, or you can order any of our jewelry. The price per rose bead is $1 per mm: 5mm=$5, 6mm=$6, 7mm=$7, 8mm=$8 (not including jewelry). If you would like to send us your special roses, we will add them to the cooking line to await processing into rose beads. When your rose beads are finished, we will contact you to discuss what jewelry you would like crafted with them or if you just want the rose beads. (Any remaining rose beads will be shipped along with your jewelry order.) Unlike so many others who have tried to copy our process in recent years, our rose beads are still the most durable available! Get them wet, you just lose your shine for a few days, but it always comes back with wear. Drop or step on them, just pick them up, they will not be damaged in any way. Our jewelry is strung with 49 strand nylon wrapped stainless steel cable wire, not silk or string. Our silver is sterling and our gold is filled, we don't use plated beads.  Rosebead Size Chart If you elect to re-size or change a bracelet or necklace closure after the original purchase, this can be done for a nominal labor fee: Bracelet- $10 plus cost of closure Necklace- $20 plus cost of closure plus parts (if lengthened) Earrings- $5 to change hooks or posts plus cost of hook/post Shipping & handling will be $10. Once orders are finished to the size requested by the customer, any size changes will be billed at the above rate. Be sure to give us your correct sizes when ordering!
As a crafter, I'm unable to offer a printed catalog!
